The Role:
MSI Group Finance is based in MSI’s London Support Office (the Head Office), based in Conway Street, central London. The Group Finance team comprises:
The Global Financial Reporting team
The Donor Reporting team
Treasury
Financial Planning & Analysis
The Global Financial Reporting team consolidate global financial information and prepare the core group financial reports: the group management accounts, group statutory accounts and the Global Support Office management accounts.
Reporting to the Lead Financial Accountant, the post holder will be a key member of the Global Reporting Team, with primary responsibility to assist in the Group Management Accounts and the Group Statutory Accounts.
The post-holder will have the primary responsibility for the monthly group consolidation adjustments and oversight of the global intercompany accounts.
About you
To succeed in this role, you must have:
Skills and Experience:
Financial & management reporting experience (essential)
Finance systems experience, preferably including SUNsystems, InforQ&A and InforBI (desirable)
Experienced in multi currency reporting and accounting (desirable)
Experience of group reporting in an international donor funded organisation (desirable)
Experience in use of Microsoft Office Packages (essential)
Qualifications and Training:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, other relevant qualification) or Part Qualified near to completion (desirable)
University degree (essential)
Personal Attributes:
High level of numeracy
Analytical approach
Attention to detail
Proactive at solving problems
Good communicator with colleagues with a finance and non-finance background; and with non-native English speakers
Good at prioritising to meet deadlines

Salary: £34-40,000 dependent on experience
