Chemonics seeks two organizational development specialists for the USAID-funded One Health Workforce – Next Generation (OHW-NG) program. One specialist will be based in Kampala Uganda, and the other will be based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Facilitate the development of short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for an organizational framework with diminishing USAID-funding
Assist with the development of business plans that reflect the vision, strategy, institutional capabilities, and organizational structures necessary to sustain operations independently
Support the development of strategies to build a supply of talent and organizational capacity systems
Help clarify the networks’ value proposition, including developing strategies for member engagement
Facilitate the development of a focused resource mobilization plan
Inform the evaluation of partnerships with participating universities and government ministries to ensure support for the network beyond USAID funding
Help develop partnerships between the national university networks to foster their ownership of programs, advance activity implementation, and enable south-to-south technical assistance
Equip the networks to engage at the local level
Facilitate the establishment and institutionalization of administrative, operational, and financial knowledge management; IT systems; policies; and procedures
