Title: Driver/Administrative Assistant

Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver/Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Senegal country office.

To drive staff in the office as well as visiting Sightsavers staff and consultants when necessary and to ensure the maintenance and safety of all office vehicles at all times and to perform clerical duties in support of the efficient running of the office.

The role also provides day-to-day administrative support including ensuring timely opening of the office and ensuring that all essential services (utilities, Internet, telephone), supplies, stationery and amenities are available to staff and visitors as needed, and facilitates meetings (adequate amenities and takes minutes when requested).

The ideal candidate will have a Basic Education Certificate (BECE) BEPC, Substantial driving experience, Experience with working with NGOs alongside good attention to detail and a good command of French/English

Experienced in the use of MS Word, Email Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and have sound administrative skills and the ability to multi task. Candidates with an understanding of equality of opportunity for disabled people would be of particular interest.
