Summary Job Description

In order to continue the work of Dahari’s groundbreaking marine programme, we are recruiting a Project Manager, based in Anjouan, Comoros. The right candidate will receive a bespoke induction and ongoing training from Blue Ventures staff, both in the UK and in the Comoros. This position will oversee Dahari’s community marine programme, implementing the strategy for community-based resource management. The role is responsible for line-managing the marine team and assisting communities to manage local marine areas in Anjouan.

Reporting to Dahari Technical Director and Programmes Manager, with close in-country support from the Blue Ventures Fisheries Technician, the Marine Project Manager will benefit from the wider Blue Ventures network, which will provide technical and strategic support and guidance in fisheries monitoring, market-based approaches and community-led conservation.
