Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) have an exciting opportunity for an International HR Partner on a maternity cover basis. You will be working in an exciting and growing department helping to drive forward our organisational by providing full generalist HR support. Reporting to the International HR Manager you will work in conjunction with senior management and our international based colleagues in more than 32 countries around the world.

The successful candidate must have or be:

• CIPD qualified or equivalent (extensive HR experience may also suffice in place)
• Extensive experience of generalist services or business partnering in HR is required creatively and laterally, to overcome challenges.
• Substantial experience in managing and implementing employee relations activities in a large organisation.
• Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, and able to maintain composure - acting in a calm and measured way, in difficult situations.
• A keen eye for detail and a professional approach to your work.
• Being highly motivated, ambitious and well organised.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
• Due to the nature of locations this role will interact with, knowledge of a second language such as Arabic, French or an Indian sub-continent language would be an advantage
